Revenue Orbit ("we", "us", "our") operates the Revenue Orbit CRM platform at crm.revorbit.com and the marketing website at revorbit.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.

Account Information: When you create a free account, we collect your name, email address, and organization name. If you provide additional details during registration (such as phone number, company name, or job title), we collect those as well.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.

Device & Log Data: We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, and access times when you visit our website or use our platform.

CRM Data: Data you enter into the CRM (contacts, deals, companies, leads, notes, files, contracts, quotes) is stored on your behalf. You retain full ownership of this data.

Email Data: If you connect your Gmail or Outlook account via OAuth, we sync email metadata and content to display within the CRM. Email data is stored on the same servers as your CRM data and is subject to the same security and retention policies. We do not access emails from accounts you have not explicitly connected.

We retain your account and CRM data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Your data is processed and stored on servers located in Nuremberg, Germany (Hetzner Cloud, EU data center). We run daily encrypted backups with weekly and monthly rotation, plus offsite cloud backup for disaster recovery.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Export your CRM data in a portable format (CSV)
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
• Request information about how your data is processed

If you are a Canadian resident, you have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), including the right to access your personal information, challenge its accuracy, and withdraw consent for its collection and use.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, your data is processed and stored within the EU (Germany). You may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to data portability and the right to erasure.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

Our marketing website uses Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or track individual visitors. The CRM application stores authentication tokens in browser localStorage (not cookies). This is essential for the platform to function and is not shared with third parties. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
